about nanoparty

nanoparty has always been a dream of mine to host, for years i came up with random ideas on how to host something that would both be fun, and as period accurate to the 2000s as possible.

in mid-2025 i told the idea to some of my closest friends, and to my surprise not only were they enthusiastic about something like this, they booked the tickets to Poland to actually come and host something like this.

with that power, i organized the first ever nanoparty on a whim with any hardware i could get my hands on. it was a massive success for us all, and we had a blast.

with 2026 rolling around, we got some more people, and started dreaming bigger and bigger, hopefully resulting in an edition that's much better than what we managed before!

as for the future, who knows! but i know that i want to keep hosting and evolving it.
